Creative
chaos gives birth to entirely new plays that go up on stage
in just one day. The Inge Center, in partnership with the
24-Hour Plays of New York (www.24hourplays.com)
sponsors three versions. One for college students from all
over the region, a separate event for regional high-schoolers (Our High School event is likely the only such 24
Hour Play production in the nation that brings together
students from a variety of schools), and one event that
serves the students and residents of our local area . .
Sixty or so talented theater students or participants from
across Kansas and several states are randomly mixed into
several shows, which are written, rehearsed and performed in
just one day's time. Reservations are being taken for
participants from two-year or four-year higher education
institutions (colleges) and secondary schools (grades 9-12)
for the high school event. Call Bruce Peterson at (620) 332-5492 for more information.
