A Call for Papers, designed for a 15 minute oral presentation, are invited on the films and plays of William Inge, and on the works of Paula Vogel. The selected papers will be presented at the conference, April 21-24, 2010. Papers selected for presentation will be deposited in the William Inge Collection at Independence Community College, the official repository of the papers of William Inge.
Scholars or students interested in presenting a paper should submit a substantial abstract, with title, by November 15, 2009. Electronic are submissions encouraged. Please submit to:

In addition to the formal Scholars Conference, nationally prominent scholars and artists of gender studies and culture are anticipated to attend and participate in public lectures and forums throughout the four days. These include:

- Jill Dolan—women's studies director, Princeton University
- Anne Fausto-Sterling—gender studies expert, Brown University
- David Savran—theater and culture professor, City University of New York
