v submit a paper for the conference?
A Call for Papers, designed for a 15 minute oral presentation, are invited on the films and plays of William Inge, and on the works of Paula Vogel. The selected papers will be presented at the conference, April 21-24, 2010. Papers selected for presentation will be deposited in the William Inge Collection at Independence Community College, the official repository of the papers of William Inge.
Scholars or students interested in presenting a paper should submit a substantial abstract, with title, by November 15, 2009. Electronic are submissions encouraged. Please submit to:

In addition to the formal Scholars Conference, nationally prominent scholars and artists of gender studies and culture are anticipated to attend and participate in public lectures and forums throughout the four days.

v obtain graduate credit for attending?
One graduate credit is available for attendees at the annual William Inge Theatre Festival, April 21-24, 2010. This graduate course is through special arrangement with Wichita State University. Throughout the year there are additional opportunities to obtain graduate credit at different courses.
